Exquisite teas grow in the marvellous green expanses of Kyoto Prefecture, where the sun dances on the hilltops. It is there that a unique blend is born, carrying Ikigai — that much-needed serenity.

Joy, mindfulness, lightness. Japanese farmers prepare them by combining the leaves of Yabukita, Okumidori, and Saemidori.

Together, they create the taste of delicate vanilla, subtly intertwined with sweet notes of peach and apricot.

Try to feel them by preparing usucha. Immerse yourself in the philosophy of Ikigai and learn how grounding is experienced. Peace doesn't need to be sought; it can be brewed.

How to prepare Usucha
  1. Preheat the bowl with hot water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Sift 1.5-2 grams of matcha (2 scoops with a chashaku) through a sieve into the bowl.
  4. Pour in 80°C water (60-80 ml).
  5. Vigorously whisk with a bamboo tea whisk (chasen) until a thick and uniform foam forms.
  6. Relax, unwind, and enjoy each sip. 🙂
