Your canonic matcha latte

 

Satori 悟り — a matcha originating from the terroirs of Kyoto。It has a rich grassy aroma characteristic of tea from this region of Japan: fresh、with a light minerality。The feeling is as if you are breathing the air of a morning forest、beside a mountain stream。In taste、the picture is complemented by soft vanilla and pistachio。

Satori has a balanced astringency and a delicate umami、suitable for preparing thin tea usucha and matcha-based drinks。

 

matcha latte preparation method
  • sift 2g of matcha — approximately 2 chashaku into a chawan or katakuchi
  • add 30ml of water at 70〜80°C
  • whisk with a bamboo whisk — chasen for 30〜 seconds、moving it in the shape of the letter "w"
  • add 120〜180ml of your favourite milk、fresh orange juice、aloe juice、coconut water or tonic


to find your perfect matcha drink — experiment with proportions and flavours。we love matcha latte with unsweetened coconut milk、as well as with almond、soy and hazelnut milk。

how does tea affect the body?

matcha 抹茶 — is the ground leaves of tencha — a Japanese green tea、which due to shading accumulates a large amount of the natural amino acid l-theanine、which has a scientifically proven positive effect on the body and nervous system。

2g of matcha contains 40〜70mg of theanine and 60〜70mg of caffeine、which together produce an effect of calm concentration and improve focus。
