Hundreds of years ago, seeking love, farmers from the picturesque town of Uji created Hatsu Koi matcha. There, where time flows calmly, and the grasses whisper their secrets, the teas Yabukita, Okumidori, and Saemidori grow.

Their carefully gathered and finely chopped leaves give birth to the ceremonial blend Hatsu Koi. Its soft, creamy flavour is filled with delicate hints of vanilla and apricot and smoothly transitions into a light cotton candy sweetness.

How to prepare Usucha
  1. Preheat the bowl with hot water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Sift 1.5-2 grams of matcha (2 scoops with a chashaku) through a sieve into the bowl.
  4. Pour in 80°C water (60-80 ml).
  5. Vigorously whisk with a bamboo tea whisk (chasen) until a thick and uniform foam forms.
  6. Relax, unwind, and enjoy each sip. 🙂
