This story begins in the town of Uji. There, amidst green expanses, endless plantations stretch under the sun. With the arrival of spring, as nature awakens, local farmers gather the leaves of noble tea varieties: Yabukita, Okumidori, and Saemidori.

Each leaf undergoes an interesting journey to fulfil its destiny — to become a "long life" and transform into Kotobuki. Richly nutty yet soft, the blend combines shades of peanuts and pistachios. Want to experience its qualities truly? Then, prepare a traditional usucha or a delicate matcha latte.

As a secret: tea is rich in antioxidants, which means it brings calmness.

How to prepare Usucha
  1. Preheat the bowl with hot water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Sift 1.5-2 grams of matcha (2 scoops with a chashaku) through a sieve into the bowl.
  4. Pour in 80°C water (60-80 ml).
  5. Vigorously whisk with a bamboo tea whisk (chasen) until a thick and uniform foam forms.
  6. Relax, unwind, and enjoy each sip. 🙂
